My friends in other cities kept asking me what I was doing with my garbage, hoping to hear some crazy story about how we were piling it on our balcony or composting in the bathroom. “I throw it down the garbage chute,” I told them, much to their disappointment.

What was disappointing, however, was that because I take my golf lessons at a city-run golf course, and golf with my girlfriends once a week at another city-run course, I couldn’t do either.

So as someone famous once said, “Those that can, do. Those that can’t, shop.” And so I shopped for cute golf accessories.
