The Ultimate Reader Giveaway!

So the 14 Days of Love Struck contest is officially over (sniff!) and I want to thank all of you for playing! If you won, I hope you like your prize and copy of Love Struck, and if you didn’t win, well, I hope you had fun anyway! But guess what? Your chance to win isn’t over…because I’ve saved the best for last!

Love Struck is now on sale and here’s your incentive to buy the book and read it. If you read it, review it, or take a picture with your copy, you’ll be entered to win this Olay gift set valued at $500!

 olay

This set includes:

  • Olay Professional Pro-X Restorative Cream Cleanser
  • Olay Professional Pro-X Exfoliating Renewal Cleanser

  • Olay Quench Plus Age Defying Body Lotion
  • Olay Ribbons Body Wash with Jojoba Butter
  • Olay Secret Clinical Strength Action Antiperspirant
  • Olay Secret Flawless Touch Antiperspirant

Would you ever leave your bathroom if you won this? I wouldn’t. I would just play with my new products all day long. I love Olay — it’s one of my favourite brands, and I can tell you first-hand that the Olay Professional Pro-X line of products are one of the best anti-aging lines on the market. Having been the editor at a cosmetic enhancement magazine for five years, I’ve tried almost every anti-aging skin care product out there, and I love Olay Pro-X because it actually works better than most brands you have to get at a dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon’s office — and at about $60 per product, it’s less than half the price of most anti-aging products!

Which is why I’m so thrilled that Olay generously donated this amazing prize so that if you’ve never tried the Pro-X line you can fall in love with it, too. Plus, all the hydrating body lotions are perfect for smoothing winter skin. Want to win?

Here’s what you have to do:

  • Go to your favourite bookstore or library and pick up a copy of Love Struck.
  • Write a review and post it in one of the following places:

-on Indigo.ca
-on Amazon.ca
- in 140 characters on Twitter (add this link: http://ow.ly/180Nr)
-on your blog (if you have one)
-as a note on your own Facebook profile page

Then, leave a note in the comments section of my blog or as a comment on my Facebook fan page letting me know that you’ve posted a review somewhere and you’ll be automatically entered to win.

***OR***

You can take a picture of your copy of Love Struck in a fun place and post the picture to your Facebook page or my Facebook Fan Page and you’ll also be entered to win! You can take the picture anywhere — at the beach, in the bath (just make sure you’re wearing your bathing suit – this is a PG site!) or even when you’re taking a break from doing the laundry…

Mr Baz and Love Struck

Easy right? And…to give you time to beg, borrow or buy the book and read it (or wait for your advanced copy to arrive if you were one of the 14 lucky winners in the previous contest), the contest closes on Friday, April 16, 2010 at midnight EST. That means you have exactly two months! Then, Mr. Baz will randomly select one grand prize winner, who will win the $500 Olay gift set, and 10 runners-up, who will win a signed copy of my first bestselling novel, Stuck in Downward Dog!

On your mark, get set, read!

Oh my gosh … I completely forgot about this! So glad it came to mind before the deadline. Now I just have to figure out how to write a book review.

    Hi, Chantel!

I’d love to review your book, I loved reading it! I’ve posted a review on Chapters’ website and will now go to Amazon.ca and have already wrote about how much I loved it on Twitter and Facebook as soon as I finished reading it!

Hi Chantel, I just wanted to let you know I have read Love Struck (loved it) and have posted a review on chapters.indigo.ca – because I want as many people as possible to know how good it is and to buy it. Good luck!

Great question! There’s no character limit–I don’t think. My comments don’t have one and I don’t think Facebook does either.

PS Your review doesn’t have to be a good one for you to win! You can say what you didn’t like about the book too — it lets me know how I can improve.

    Hi Chantel!
I’m really looking forward to reading Lovestruck and to writing a review. Is there a rule as to the maximum length for the review if it is posted on your blog or Facebook page — or do either of these sites have a maximum word/character limit?
    Thanks,
    P
