Last week, Dove Spa and Key Porter threw me a little media event for Love Struck. And since Love Struck opens with a spa theme (okay, a no-frills nail bar scene) I thought it would be fun to have the event at a spa, where everyone could get their nails done (because it’s a little classier than giving everyone a $10 mani where you have to get up to wash your own hands, no?), while having a little mimosa breakfast.
Some of my favourite people came out, including one of my best friends who tirelessly served up mimosas with sass, my agent, my publicists and my girlfriends who work in media and it was a super fun morning out of the office. Everyone got manis or massages and a little gift bag with the ARC, cookies and a few spa treats to take home.
And you’re probably saying, so what? What’s in it for me? So because it’s not nice to talk about things to people who weren’t there, I’m letting you feel like you were there by giving one randomly-chosen person a similar prize package filled with:
